Areas of Practice

Mr. Ehrlich is a partner in Berding | Weil's litigation department. His primary practice includes representing common interest developments, commercial and residential property owners, and businesses in a diverse range of complex construction defect, real estate, construction, commercial, land use, environmental, product liability, and insurance litigation matters. He also represents clients concerning administrative and transactional matters in the same practice areas.

Mr. Ehrlich has been selected as a Super Lawyers “California Rising Star” each of the past seven years. This peer-nominated and evaluated award is granted to no more than 2.5% of attorneys under 40 years old in the State of California.

Professional History

Prior to joining Berding | Weil, Mr. Ehrlich practiced law in the Bay Area with a prominent real estate and construction boutique law firm representing commercial and residential property owners, developers, contractors, architects, design professionals, engineers, consultants, lenders, investors, and REITs in litigation, administrative, and transactional matters.

Educational History

Mr. Ehrlich received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was the Managing Editor of the Hastings West-Northwest Journal of Environmental Law Policy. He was awarded the Albert G. Evans Award in Private Enterprise by the UC Hastings faculty for his article In Hidden Places: Congressional Legislation Which Limits the Scope of the National Environmental Policy Act (13 Hastings West Northwest J. of Envtl. L. & Pol'y 285 (2007)). Mr. Ehrlich graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, with honors, from Claremont McKenna College.
