Ivanna Arceo is a member of the litigation department of Berding & Weil. Ivanna primarily represents community associations and individual homeowners in construction defect litigation. Ivanna's representation includes investigating initial client construction defect concerns, advising clients on pre-litigation dispute resolution, mediations, arbitration, and formal litigation.
While attending law school, Ivanna worked full time for Berding & Weil as a Construction Defect Case Analyst. As a Case Analyst Ivanna worked on construction defect litigation, class action lawsuits, civil litigation, and community association law.
Additionally, while attending law school, Ivanna participated in Moot Court and competed in the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Tournament.
Prior to joining Berding & Weil, Ivanna worked as a paralegal for a private immigration law firm in Los Angeles. Ivanna's work in immigration law consisted of drafting defense briefs for clients in deportation proceedings, immigrant and non-immigrant visa processing, and indigent client defense. Ivanna spent considerable amount of time interviewing clients in detention facilities and drafting the best possible defense for their deportation proceedings.
Ivanna received her J.D. at San Francisco Law School, San Diego campus in 2020. Ivanna received her ABA accredited paralegal certificate from the University of California, Riverside in 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
