Lucas Olona is a partner in Berding | Weil's litigation department and has been with the firm since 2009. Mr. Olona represents consumers in complex construction defect and class action lawsuits. He also assists clients with first and third-party insurance coverage analysis, claims and resolution of disputes. Mr. Olona was named as a Super Lawyers “Northern California Rising Star” from 2013 to 2017.
Prior to joining Berding | Weil, Mr. Olona's practice focused on insurance coverage litigation and disputes for both first and third-party claims. Throughout his career, Mr. Olona has represented clients in all aspects of litigation, appearing in state courts throughout California.
Mr. Olona received his Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon, Knight School of Law in 2004, where he was a member of the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation. He received his B.A. from Washington State University in 2000, where he was a four-year member of the men's rowing team and an English major.
